Sagicor Select Funds Limited (SELECT) has advised their Board has decided not to declare an interim dividend for this period based on a decision by the BOJ and the Financial Sector to temporarily suspend the payment of dividends.
“Our Fund’s assets are listed equities in financial sector companies and,
therefore, we will receive reduced dividends.
“The Board will review this position quarterly. The company had earlier
announced the Board of Directors’ intention to consider the payment of
an interim dividend to stockholders on May 31 and November 30, 2020,” the Company further advised.
